Trent Hills Public Library, Campbellford Branch
The Campbellford branch of the Trent Hills Public Library was originally built in 1922, one of 111 “Carnegie Librairies” built with grant money provided by American philanthropist Andrew Carnegie. In recent the years, the library has strived to become a community hub, and offers access to a musical instrument lending library, a “Library of Things”, several computers for patrons use, free WiFi, and of course, books for all ages. I couldn’t live anywhere without a library. We are so lucky to have this one!

Fogorig Brewing
Here’s their introduction on their website (I really couldn’t say it better): “Welcome to Fogorig Brewing, named after the historic mill that is perched majestically on the rolling hills of Northumberland County. Our family run farm brewery makes exceptional and accessible beer for a growing community hungry for things locally made and heritage inspired. We support local artisans through our food and live music offerings, and our event spaces capture the essence of the region. Come for the beer, stay for the sunsets.”
They brew several types of beer - if you can’t make up your mind, you can try a flight of 5 samples. The premises are beautiful, and they have a small herd of Nubian goats. It’s magical. The photos don’t do it justice.
Canada Day Pancake Breakfast, Campbellford
Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Campbellford, this is a very popular event. Pancakes, sausages, and local REAL maple syrup served up in Old Mill Park, right on the Trent Canal.
